Exercise Tips for the Vacationer
Just because you’re on vacation, there’s no need to through a monkey wrench into your physical regimen. Particularly, for the solo traveler, getting away does necessitate staying away from fitness. During travel alone, a personalized exercise program can be ensured without the need to accommodate another person’s schedule.

Use the hotel fitness center
Most hotels have the amenity of a fitness center. Check with the registration desk to confirm that your key card provides access to the fitness center and whether there is an additional fee for using the facility.

Before you devise your exercise regimen, make sure you include between 20 to 30 minutes of cardio training. Also, be sure to include 15 to 20 minutes of strength training with weight machines or free weights. The idea with the combined fitness program offers extra energy and maximized caloric burn. Remember not to over exert yourself. Being sore on vacation may impair your travel plans. Do not forget to stretch your muscles at the conclusion of your training program.

Get physical – outdoors
If the climate is prime for out activity, kill two birds with one stone. Use any sightseeing activity to get an adequate amount of exercise. As a result, is important to pack a pair of comfortable gym or walking shoes. Prior to stepping outdoors, jog in place for 3 to 4 minutes. It will help warm up your muscles. Be sure to include ten minutes of stretch time.

During your touring jaunt, vary the speed of your walking pace. Begin the process slowly. To accelerate the speed, keep your arm in motion. Allow rest periods to avoid over-working yourself. To manage your work-out and sightseeing excursion, map out each route by day. Familiarize yourself with the area to avoid getting lost.

Most importantly, do not forget to enjoy yourself and keep your fitness fun while on vacation.
